The collection of household coordinate points in Jayapura Regency was carried out within the catchment area of Harapan Health Centre, with a focus on Kampung Asei Besar and Kampung Nendali.
This activity was conducted as a follow-up to the successful implementation of Mass Drug Administration (MDA) in 2023, with the aim of ensuring that every household is accurately mapped. Data collection took place over four days, from 11 to 14 March 2026, using a door-to-door approach. Each household was recorded by trained community health workers, capturing basic information alongside GPS coordinates, each assigned a unique identifier. The process was supported by daily supervision to ensure the quality and consistency of the data collected.
The activity successfully mapped 168 household coordinate points in Kampung Asei Besar and 642 in Kampung Nendali. Despite geographical challenges, particularly in areas along the shores of Lake Sentani, the process was completed smoothly due to effective cross-team collaboration and flexible operational arrangements.
